Introductory blog!

Hello! I hope everyone who reads this is doing well. =)  I think the way I'll write blogs is just to tell you about my day.  I'll explain things as time goes on, instead of giving you background on my life which would get pretty boring. :P  Also, if I come across a cool new song that I like or something exciting happens in my world then I'll post pictures of the event.

This is a random picture that I thought was absolutely gorgeous and some place I'd like to live someday. =)

Ok then! So I have classes at the local junior college Monday through Thursday and I've had alot of homework and tests the past week and a half so today I just spent relaxing at home.  My little brother Dash (age 11, full first name is Dashiell  pronounced [Dash-ill] =)) and I were playing guitar this morning which was pretty entertaining.  He is not very good because he's too young to have the focus to really get into an instrument, but it's pretty cute when he tries to tell me what I'm doing wrong when I play! Lol!  I play the acoustic guitar and I LOVE country music so I'm trying to teach him how to play because he and I both enjoy it and it's something we can do together. =)  Dash and my little sister Maddy (age 14, full first name is Madison) are homeschooled just like I was until I started college.  Maddy starts college this Spring and she's nervous about the classes, but I know she'll be fine and she's just having jitters like I did right before I started.  Oh! It just occured to me that you might have a particular opinion of homeschoolers as being "scary religious people" or sheltered.  Trust me that 90% of homeschoolers are COMPLETELY normal and here's a scary thought for you.......you'd most likely never know a person was or is homeschooled because we're so normal. ;) In case you don't believe me, follow my blog and you'll notice that I'm probably just like you! Lol you can also check out my friend Valentine's blog and the link is here:

Valentine and her brothers are also homeschooled and they are so much fun to be around! Maddy, Dash, and I are on a ballroom dance team with Valentine and her brothers(Soren, Isaac, and Wolfgang aka Wolfie ;)) and we laugh so hard sometimes we can't even breathe!!!  =)

Anyway! That was a bit of a tangent....but since it is my first blog post there is a fair amount of things to explain.  Lol so the rest of my day was spent creating this blog, playing guitar, and generally relaxing because tomorrow it's nose to the grindstone again.  I have lots of homework due to different professors on Monday and I have a Trigonometry exam next Thursday, so I will be very busy!

I will try to update this blog at least a few times a week, but obviously my classes have to take a priority over any blogging I do :P so we'll see what happens! =)

Well, I should go now....Dad just called for dinner and tonight he's experimenting which is pretty scary because when my parents experiment it doesn't always turn out very well! Lol tonight's experiment is an attempted recreation of the local restaurant's Biztec Azteca; more on how it turns out later.

See ya!
